LOL, I think that's why my reaction times suck, because I don't want to red light ( never have ). But if you just going for time, then I can see that it would never matter. The car was pulling hard all the way down the track huh? That's how we know that stock turbo's can hang with short distances and dyno's and yet yield awesome results, just not longevity. That's why I think it takes drivers like Mike, Orion and the master Arnel and the many others stateside to show that the twinturbo V-6 3500lbs car can be the best all round car. I as well think that Mike as more in his car just by the air temps at the time of the 11 pass. Seeing a post here in the next few weeks or so of a 11.5 would not surprise me and many on here. But as far as the 96 20hp less theory, I think that fair to say now that it's not a factor and has been over compensated by a long shot with a 19.5psi on 100 octane. But now many ask themselves how does the injectors keep up on the fuel at such a load. I think the computer do this on there own, because I too don't have an AFC or AFR as of yet and when I went to Dyno the car ( been twice ), I could not lean it out no matter how much boost I was pushing ( went to 17.40psi ). The injectors would have maxed flow I'm sure at some point, yet the wideband was showing the car compensating for each run and each increase of boost ( 4 runs ). I think if we had EGR's to show air temps, they would be really high I'm sure. But the short term affect and result is well worth the risk to many of us and that's what keeps this awesome competitive friendly event going I'm sure. So with that, I'm not even going to say crap on what I think, expect on my NOV Dyno. But I know what I'm going to do much better this time vise last. Again awesome job Mike, just awesome.......
STAGE V++++ Going to XIII and beyond :) |
